Bed Bug Bite Pictures

I don't think I've ever heard so much about bed bugs as I have lately. The spread of bed bugs are at nearly epidemic according to some news reports I have heard lately. I even heard Clark Howard talking about bed bugs recently on his radio show. That got me interested because I travel a lot and stay in different hotels. I would freak out if I brought some home to my family and ruined a bunch of my furniture.

Can you imagine waking up with bed bug bites like you see in the pictures below? I would be horrified and I wouldn't want my children to get bitten. As you can see, this is a nasty problem and you should take precautions. I have actually started carrying bed bug protection pillow cases when I travel because I don't want to take the chances of sleeping on a pillow that might be infested.

Bed Bugs In NYC

From some of the reports I have read, it seems that New York City hotels are a hot spot for the infestation of bed bugs. A place like NYC has so many visitors from across the world that I can understand how it may be very easy to lose control of the situation in a hotel.

If you stay in a hotel that you discover has bed bugs you can report it to the bed bug registry. If you check the registry before you make travel plans it may help you avoid hotels that have been reported as having bed bugs.

I scoured the internet and found some of the nastiest bed bug pictures I could find. Bed Bugs are getting close to epidemic proportions across the nation. There are many well known hotel and motel chains that have reports of bed bug infestations and they do not want you to know about it. You really need to take precautions when you travel. Bed bugs can easily travel with you in your luggage and clothes. It may be a good idea to immediately wash all of your clothes in hot water after returning from a trip where you have stayed in a motel.
